Turck NI20-K40-AZ3X 2.00M is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor supports a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (with nominal voltages of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (with nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, and 250Vdc), making it versatile for both AC and DC applications. It belongs to the NI...-K40 series and features a 40mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape. The sensor has an IP67 degree of protection, ensuring durability in various environments. It is constructed from ABS material for both the housing and sensing face, offering a sensing distance of 20mm. The operating mode is NO (Normally Open), and it includes 1 x digital output capable of handling 20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc at AC/DC 2-wire with a maximum of 300mA. The maximum switching frequency is 20Hz.
