Turck NI20U-EM30-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-EM30 series and features a partially threaded M30 stainless steel barrel with a PBT sensing face and an EPTR end cap, ensuring an IP68 degree of protection against ingress. It is powered by a 10-30Vdc supply voltage, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can switch at frequencies up to 1.5kHz. The sensing distance is 20mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor has a digital output capable of handling 10-30Vdc at a maximum of 200mA, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit, overload, and reverse polarity. The response time is 8ms, and it has a control circuit rated current of 200mA with a no-load current consumption of 25mA.
