Turck NI20NF-CP40-VP4X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for sensing non-ferrous metals only, with a sensing distance of 20mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +60°C and features a rectangular body (H40mm x W40mm) made from glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0) for both the housing and sensing face. This sensor is part of the NI...-CP40 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It is pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connections. The supply voltage requirement is 10-65Vdc, accommodating 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc nominal voltages, and it has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz. The operating modes available are NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs, with one digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
