NI20-M30-VN4X Description
Turck NI20-M30-VN4X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a variety of applications, featuring a sensing distance of 20mm and operating within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. This sensor comes pre-wired with a 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. It belongs to the NI...-M30 series and is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing in an M30 partially threaded barrel shape, offering an IP67 degree of protection against dust and water ingress. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc, and supports a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz. It provides NO (Normally Open) / NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs, with one digital output (10-65Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and the sensor has a quick response time of 8ms / 0.008 s.
