NI20-M30-AP6X Description
Turck NI20-M30-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting metal objects within a 20mm sensing distance. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor falls under the NI...-M30 series and features a partially threaded M30 barrel shape made from chrome-plated brass, with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, complemented by a PVC cable jacket. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and supports a digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz. It features a NO (Normally Open) operating mode, with a thread size of M30. The sensor is designed to protect against short-circuits (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, ensuring stable operation. It has a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s, a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A, and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
