NI20-CP40-VN4X2/S10 Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck NI20-CP40-VN4X2/S10 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for a wide range of industrial applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block with a 1/2"-14 NPT entry for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-CP40 series and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. It supports a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor has a rectangular body measuring H40mm x W40mm, known as Combiprox, with a terminal chamber for easy installation. It can switch at frequencies up to 150Hz and is constructed from glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT-GF30-V0) for both the housing and sensing face, ensuring durability. The sensing distance is 20mm, and it offers both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) complementary outputs. The digital output operates at 10-65Vdc with NPN configuration and can handle a maximum of 200mA. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity safeguards. The sensor's response time is 8ms, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA and a no-load current consumption of 15mA.
