NI2-Q6.5-AP6/S34 Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck NI2-Q6.5-AP6/S34 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metallic objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor falls within the NI...-Q6.5 series and features a 6.5mm thick rectangular body, ensuring a compact form factor suitable for various applications. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and moisture resistance is required. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and has a maximum switching frequency of 30Hz. The housing and sensing face are made of PP-GR 20 (Polypropylene), while the cable jacket is made of PUR (Polyurethane), ensuring durability. It provides a sensing distance of 2mm and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The sensor features one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions.
