NI2-Q6.5-AN6 Description
Turck NI2-Q6.5-AN6 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connection. This sensor is part of the NI...-Q6.5 series and features a 6.5mm thick rectangular body with a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. It requires a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz. The housing and sensing face are made of PP-GR 20 (Polypropylene), and the cable jacket is PUR (Polyurethane). With a sensing distance of 2mm and operating in NO (Normally Open) mode, it includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.). It also features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a current consumption of 15mA at no-load.
