NI2-G08-Y1 Description
Turck NI2-G08-Y1 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor designed for operation in environments requiring ATEX compliance. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is equipped with a 2m pre-wired cable with bare end flying leads for connection. It falls within the NI...-G08 series and features an IP67 degree of protection, ensuring durability in various industrial settings. The sensor operates at a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc and is designed with an M8 fully threaded barrel shape. It has a maximum switching frequency of 5kHz and is constructed from 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel housing, PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) for the sensing face, PP (Polypropylene) for the end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. The sensing distance is 2mm, with a thread size of M8, and it includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR). Notably, this special version is designed without an LED indicator.
