NI10-K20-Y1 Description
Turck NI10-K20-Y1 is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor/switch designed for operation in environments with ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. This ATEX compliant special version is distinguished by its lack of an LED indicator and is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. As part of the NI...-K20 series, it features a degree of protection rated at IP67, ensuring its durability in challenging conditions. The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc and is housed in a 20mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape, capable of a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz. The construction materials include a PBT-GF30-V0 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) housing and sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket, offering robustness and longevity. It provides a sensing distance of 10mm and includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) for reliable detection and signaling.
