NI10-G18SK-AP6X2 Description
Turck NI10-G18SK-AP6X2 is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a short barrel design for easy installation in confined spaces. This sensor is equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a right-angled Pg 9 entry for connection, falling under the NI...-G18 series. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and water resistance is required. The supply voltage is specified to be between 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its shape is an M18 fully threaded barrel with a right-angle terminal chamber, and it can switch at frequencies up to 500Hz. The housing is made of chrome-coated brass with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. The sensing distance is 10mm, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size for mounting is M18. It has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s, and the control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A.
