NI10-G18SK-VP4X Turck Inductive Sensors

Turck NI10-G18SK-VP4X is an inductive proximity sensor designed for detecting the presence of metal objects without contact. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and features a short barrel design for easy installation in confined spaces. This sensor is equipped with a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block and a right-angled Pg 9 entry for straightforward electrical connections. As part of the NI...-G18 series, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for use in environments where dust and water resistance is required. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc, and can switch at frequencies up to 500Hz. Its M18 fully threaded barrel shape with a right-angle terminal chamber facilitates versatile mounting options. The sensing face is made from glass fiber-reinforced Polyamide (PA12-GF30) for durability, and the housing is chrome-coated brass, ensuring robustness in harsh conditions. It offers a sensing distance of 10mm and provides Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) complementary outputs for integration into various control systems. The sensor has a thread size of M18 and includes one digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions.
