BIM-UNT-AY1X/S1139 Description
Turck BIM-UNT-AY1X/S1139 is an intrinsically-safe magnetic cylinder position sensor or switch, belonging to the BIM-UNT series. This ATEX compliant sensor features a long overtravel embeddable Permaprox cylinder design, suitable for T-slot mounting. It operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc and includes a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PVC cable with bare end flying leads for connection. The sensor and its sensing face are made from PP (Polypropylene), ensuring compatibility with various industrial environments. It offers a digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and operates in a NO (Normally Open) mode. With a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz, this sensor is designed for a wide range of applications. The T-groove body shape and IP68 degree of protection make it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
