BIM-UNT-AP6X-0.3-PSG3M Description

Turck BIM-UNT-AP6X-0.3-PSG3M is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch from the BIM-UNT series, designed for embeddable Permaprox cylinder sensing. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a polypropylene (PP) housing and sensing face, with a polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 30cm / 12" pigtail PUR cable, terminating in a 3-pin M8 Picofast threaded coupler nut male connector. The T-groove body shape allows for T-slot mounting, and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. The sensor can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz. It provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA / 0.2 A. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
