BIM-UNT-AP6X/S1160 Description
Turck BIM-UNT-AP6X/S1160 is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor or switch, part of the BIM-UNT series, designed for detecting the position in pneumatic cylinders. It features a potted TPU cable suitable for welding areas and is an embeddable Permaprox cylinder sensor. The sensor operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is constructed with a PP (Polypropylene) housing and sensing face, along with a TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft TPU-jacketed cable, terminated with bare end flying leads, and is designed with a T-groove body for T-slot mounting. The sensor offers an IP67 degree of protection, can operate at a frequency up to 1kHz / 1000Hz max. switching frequency, and is suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensor includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
