BIM-M12-Y0/S300 Description
Turck BIM-M12-Y0/S300 is a magnetic field sensor/switch that belongs to the BIM-M12 series, designed for position sensing. This sensor features an embeddable design with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, a PBT-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face, a brass end cap, and a silicone cable jacket. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft silicone-jacketed cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The shape of the sensor is an M12 partially threaded barrel, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP67. It operates at a frequency of up to 1kHz / 1000Hz maximum switching frequency and can function in ambient air temperatures ranging from 0°C to +130°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and features an M12 thread size.
