BIM-IKE-AN6X-2-RS4T/S589 Description

Turck BIM-IKE-AN6X-2-RS4T/S589 is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch from the BIM-IKE series designed for embedment with a Permaprox cylinder sensor. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face and a PVC cable jacket. It is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. The rectangular body sensor offers an IP67 degree of protection and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensor is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
