BI7-Q08-AP6X2 Description
Turck BI7-Q08-AP6X2 is an inductive proximity sensor/switch that falls under the BI...-Q08 series. This embeddable design sensor operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a die-cast Zinc alloy housing, a Polypropylene sensing face, and a Polyurethane cable jacket. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads and has an 8mm thick rectangular body. It offers an IP68 degree of protection and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BI7-Q08-AP6X2 has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz, a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s, and comes with a 2m long cable. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA, a sensing distance of 7mm, and features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
