BI7-Q08-AP6X2-0.2-RS4T/S1589 Description
Turck BI7-Q08-AP6X2-0.2-RS4T/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-Q08 series designed with a Weldguard coated, embeddable 8mm thick rectangular body. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with a Polypropylene sensing face and a Polyurethane cable jacket. This sensor is pre-wired with a 20cm / 8" pigtail PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BI7-Q08-AP6X2-0.2-RS4T/S1589 has a maximum switching frequency of 500Hz and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a sensing distance of 7mm. It is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions.
