BI6U-M12-AN6X Description
Turck BI6U-M12-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M12 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing, an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It has an M12 partially threaded barrel shape and offers an IP68 degree of protection. The sensor operates at a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 25mA and a sensing distance of 6mm. The BI6U-M12-AN6X is protected against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open), and it features an M12 thread size.
