Turck BI4U-MT12E-AP6X2-H1141/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-MT12 series. This sensor features an extended barrel design with Weldguard coating, making it embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The housing is made from PTFE-coated and chrome-plated brass, with a PBT sensing face and an EPTR end cap. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The sensor's shape is an M12 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, offering an IP68 degree of protection. It has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -30°C to +85°C. The response time is 8ms, and it features one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). The current consumption is 25mA under no-load conditions, with a sensing distance of 4mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at 200mA, and the thread size is M12. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
