BI4U-EM12-AP6X-H1141 Description

Turck BI4U-EM12-AP6X-H1141 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EM12 series. This sensor is designed to be embeddable and comes with a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing and an LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) sensing face. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity and features a partially threaded barrel shape of M12 size. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The maximum switching frequency is 3kHz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The response time of the sensor is 8ms, and it has one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). The no-load current consumption is 25mA, and the sensing distance is set at 4mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated for a current of 200mA, and the operating mode of the sensor is Normally Open (NO).
