BI4U-M12-AN6X Description

Turck BI4U-M12-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-M12 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing, an LCP sensing face, an EPTR end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m cable terminating in bare end flying leads and has an M12 partially threaded barrel shape. It offers an IP68 degree of protection and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz, a sensing distance of 4mm, and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. It provides a single digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. The operating mode for this sensor is normally open (NO).
