Turck BI4-MT12-AP6X-H1141/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-MT12 series, designed with a Weldguard coated, embeddable form factor. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a PTFE-coated brass material for durability. This sensor features a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity and is shaped as an M12 partially threaded barrel. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The sensor operates at a frequency of up to 2kHz or 2000Hz maximum switching frequency and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. With a response time of 8ms or 0.008 seconds and a sensing distance of 4mm, it provides a digital output of 10-30Vdc, PNP, with a maximum of 200mA. The sensor includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, ensuring its operational integrity. It has a control circuit rated current of 200mA or 0.2 A, utilizes an M12 thread size, and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
