BI4-M12-RN6X Description
Turck BI4-M12-RN6X is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-M12 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a chrome-plated brass housing, a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, an EPTR (Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer Rubber) end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The shape is an M12 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA with no load, and it has a sensing distance of 4mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
