BI4-M12-AP6X-H1141/S1589 Description
Turck BI4-M12-AP6X-H1141/S1589 is a sensor designed for proximity detection within the BI...-M12 series. This inductive proximity sensor/switch features a Weldguard coated, embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. The sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity and has an M12 partially threaded barrel shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz, a digital output of 10-30Vdc (PNP; 200mA max.), and a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 4mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
