BI4-EM12E-AP6X-H1141/S1589 Description
Turck BI4-EM12E-AP6X-H1141/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-EM12 series, featuring an extended barrel Weldguard coated embeddable design. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in 1.4301 (304) stainless steel. This sensor is equipped with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. Its shape is an M12 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It has a response time of 8ms and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) with a sensing distance of 4mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at 200mA, and the thread size is M12. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
