BI3U-M12E-AP6X Description
Turck BI3U-M12E-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M12 series, featuring an extended barrel embeddable design. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing, LCP sensing face, EPTR end cap, and a PVC cable jacket. This sensor is pre-wired with a 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads and has an M12 partially threaded extended cylindrical/barrel shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -30°C to +85°C. The sensor has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz, a sensing distance of 3mm, and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. It features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 25mA and a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. The operating mode of this sensor is NO (Normally Open).
