BI3U-EG12SK-AP6X Description
Turck BI3U-EG12SK-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG12 series. This sensor features a short barrel embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is constructed with a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing and a PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) sensing face. The connection is facilitated by a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block and a right-angled Pg 9 entry. The shape is defined as an M12 fully threaded barrel with a right-angle terminal chamber. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and operates at a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz or 3000Hz. The ambient air temperature suitable for operation ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The response time is 8ms or 0.008 seconds, and it includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.). The current consumption is 25mA under no-load conditions, and the sensing distance is 3mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at a current of 200mA or 0.2 A. The thread size is M12, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
