BI20-G47-Y1X Description
Turck BI20-G47-Y1X is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-G47 series. This ATEX compliant, embeddable sensor operates with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It features a chrome-plated brass housing with a sensing face made of PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) and an end cap of PA12-GF25 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide), along with a PVC cable jacket. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a Pg36 fully threaded barrel shape, offers a degree of protection of IP67, and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BI20-G47-Y1X has a maximum switching frequency of 200Hz, includes 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR), and provides a sensing distance of 20mm with a thread size of Pg 36.
