BI2-Q5.5K-AN6X Description
Turck BI2-Q5.5K-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q5.5 series, designed with a short barrel embeddable form. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a PP (Polypropylene) housing, a PP-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene) sensing face, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It features a pre-wired connection with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is a 5.5mm thick short rectangular body, offering an IP67 degree of protection. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz, can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions, with a sensing distance of 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, operating in a NO (Normally Open) mode.
