Turck BI2-Q5.5-AP6X-0.5-RS4T/S1764 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q5 series. This sensor features an embeddable design with a 5.5mm thick rectangular body and is constructed with a PP-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene) sensing face. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 50cm / 20" pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. It offers a sensing distance of 2mm and includes a single digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.). The BI2-Q5.5-AP6X-0.5-RS4T/S1764 operates with a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz / 2000Hz and is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It provides a degree of protection rated at IP67 and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The operating mode for this sensor is Normally Open (NO).
