BI2-EG08K-AG41X Description
Turck BI2-EG08K-AG41X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed with a short barrel embeddable form. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-55Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a stainless steel housing, a sensing face made of glass fiber reinforced Polyamide (PA12-GF20), a Polypropylene (PP) end cap, and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m (approximately 6.5ft) PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox), offering an IP67 degree of protection. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz (1000Hz), can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, and includes a single digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; low voltage drop; 100mA max.). The sensing distance is 2mm, and it is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 100mA (0.1 A), with an M8 thread size and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
