BI2-Q5.5-AN6X Description
Turck BI2-Q5.5-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q5.5 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a polypropylene (PP) housing with a glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF20) sensing face and a polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m PUR cable terminating in bare end flying leads. It has a rectangular body with a thickness of 5.5mm and offers an IP67 degree of protection. The sensor operates at a maximum switching frequency of 2kHz and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. Its response time is 8ms, and it includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 150mA, and the operating mode is normally open (NO).
