BI2-Q4.7-RN6X Description
Turck BI2-Q4.7-RN6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q4.7 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a die-cast Zinc alloy housing with a PA12 (Polyamide) sensing face and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads, and it has a 4.7mm thick rectangular body. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The sensor operates at a frequency of up to 1kHz / 1000Hz max. switching frequency and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +85°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 100mA max.) and has a current consumption of 15mA under no-load conditions. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it features protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. Its operating mode is NC (Normally Closed).
