BI2-Q10S-Y1X Description
Turck BI2-Q10S-Y1X is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-Q10 series. This ATEX compliant sensor features a side-sensing, embeddable design with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It is constructed with a PP-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene) housing and sensing face, along with a PVC cable jacket. The sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It has a 10mm thick rectangular body shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor operates at a frequency of up to 1kHz / 1000Hz max. switching frequency and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It features 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has a sensing distance of 2mm.
