BI2-P12SK-AP6X2 Description
Turck BI2-P12SK-AP6X2 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-P12 series, designed with a short barrel that is embeddable. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a PA12 (Polyamide) housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, ensuring durability. It features a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block and a right-angled Pg 9 entry for connections. The shape is an M12 fully threaded barrel with a right-angle terminal chamber, offering an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. It operates at a frequency of up to 2kHz or 2000Hz maximum switching frequency and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The response time is quick at 8ms or 0.008 seconds. This model includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is set at 2mm. It is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA or 0.2 A, with a thread size of M12 and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
