BI2-M08-AP6X Description
Turck BI2-M08-AP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-M08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a nickel-plated brass housing, a sensing face and end cap made of glass fiber reinforced Polypropylene (PP-GF20), and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable jacket. It comes pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M8 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 2.8kHz / 2800Hz, can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA under no-load conditions, with a sensing distance of 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
