BI2-G12SK-Y1X/40L Description
Turck BI2-G12SK-Y1X/40L is an intrinsically-safe inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-G12 series. This sensor features an ATEX compliant short barrel design that is embeddable and comes with a supply voltage of 8.2Vdc. It is constructed with a chrome-coated brass housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face for durability. The connection is facilitated through a pre-equipped wiring chamber terminal block and a right-angled Pg 9 entry. Its shape is defined by an M12 fully threaded barrel with a right-angle terminal chamber. The BI2-G12SK-Y1X/40L offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It operates at a frequency of 5kHz or a maximum switching frequency of 5000Hz. The sensor is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It features 1 x digital output (8.2Vdc; NAMUR) and has a sensing distance of 2mm, with a thread size of M12.
