BI2-G12K-RN6X Description
Turck BI2-G12K-RN6X is an inductive proximity sensor within the BI...-G12 series, featuring a short barrel embeddable design. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a chrome-plated brass housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face, along with a PVC cable jacket. It connects via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. This model has an M12 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel shape and offers an IP67 degree of protection. It can switch at frequencies up to 2kHz / 2000Hz and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 2mm. It features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with an M12 thread size and operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
