BI2-EM12WD-AP6/S929 Description
Turck BI2-EM12WD-AP6/S929 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-EM12 series, designed as an embeddable special version without an LED indicator. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel housing, PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) sensing face, and end cap, along with an FEP cable jacket. This sensor is pre-wired with a 2m / 6.5ft FEP-jacketed cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has an M12 partially threaded barrel shape and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68 and IP69K. The maximum switching frequency is 1kHz / 1000Hz, and it can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -60°C to +60°C. The BI2-EM12WD-AP6/S929 features one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 2mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
