Turck BI2-EM12D-AP6-0.3-RS4T/S120 is a sensor designed for proximity detection with an inductive approach, belonging to the BI...-EM12 series. This embeddable special version is characterized by its absence of an LED indicator. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is encased in a 1.4571 (316Ti) stainless steel housing with a PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) sensing face, ensuring durability. It features a pre-wired 30cm / 12" pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity. The M12 partially threaded barrel shape of the sensor is designed for easy installation. It offers a high degree of protection with an IP68 rating, suitable for demanding environments. The sensor's maximum switching frequency is 100Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +120°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP) for signal transmission. The sensing distance is set at 2mm, and it is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
