Turck BI2-EH6.5K-AN6X-0.2-RS4T is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EH6.5 series, designed with a short barrel embeddable form. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It features a pre-wired 20cm / 8" pigtail PUR cable terminated with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. The sensor's shape is a 6.5mm diameter smooth short cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox), and it offers a degree of protection of IP67. It has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz, can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, and includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.). The current consumption is 15mA with no load, and it has a sensing distance of 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with an operating mode of NO (Normally Open).
