BI2-EH6.5-AN6X Description
Turck BI2-EH6.5-AN6X is an inductive proximity sensor/switch from the BI...-EH6.5 series, designed to be embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. It is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor has a 6.5mm diameter smooth cylindrical/barrel shape (Picoprox) and offers a degree of protection of IP67. It can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz and has an ambient air temperature range for operation of -25°C to +70°C. The response time is 8ms / 0.008 s. It features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 150mA / 0.15 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
