Turck BI2-EGT08K-AG41X-H1341/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor from the BI...-EGT08 series, designed with a short barrel Weldguard coated embeddable form. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-55Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor is housed in PTFE-coated 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel with a sensing face made of PTFE-coated PA12-GF20 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide), ensuring durability. It features a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for connectivity, and its shape is an M8 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, with a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; low voltage drop; 100mA max.), with a sensing distance of 2mm. It is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated for a current of 100mA / 0.1 A, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size for installation is M8.
