BI2-EG12SK-AD4X Description
Turck BI2-EG12SK-AD4X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG12 series, designed with a short barrel that is embeddable. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a 1.4301 (304) stainless steel housing and a sensing face made of PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, ensuring durability. It comes pre-equipped with a wiring chamber terminal block and a right-angled Pg 9 entry for connections. The shape is an M12 fully threaded barrel with a right-angle terminal chamber, offering an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. It has a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides one digital output (10-65Vdc; DC 2-wire; 100mA max.) and features a sensing distance of 2mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M12, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
