Turck BI2-EG08K-AP6X-V1131/S1589 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series. This sensor features a short barrel Weldguard coated embeddable design, with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is constructed with a stainless steel housing and a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face. The sensor is pre-equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector, adopting an M8 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox) shape. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and can operate at a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -25°C and +70°C. It includes 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensing distance is 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
