Turck BI2-EG08K-AN6X/S957 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series. This sensor features a short barrel embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is constructed with a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing and is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M8 fully threaded short cylindrical/barrel (Picoprox), and it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It operates at a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz / 3000Hz and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BI2-EG08K-AN6X/S957 has one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.), with a sensing distance of 2mm. It includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M8, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
