BI2-EG08-RP6X Description
Turck BI2-EG08-RP6X is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. This sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox) shape and offers an IP67 degree of protection. The maximum switching frequency is 3kHz / 3000Hz, and it can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The BI2-EG08-RP6X features one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA, a sensing distance of 2mm, and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. It has an M8 thread size and operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
