Turck BI2-EG08-AP6X/S100 is an inductive proximity sensor belonging to the BI...-EG08 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a 1.4305 (303) stainless steel housing, a PA6.6 (Polyamide) sensing face, a PP (Polypropylene) end cap, and a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket. This sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox) shape, offers IP67 degree of protection, and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +100°C. The sensor's response time is 8ms, and it has a maximum switching frequency of 3kHz. It features one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 150mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 2mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity protection. The control circuit is rated at 150mA, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
